After being diagnosed with depression and anxiety, four years ago, I wanted answers.
But sadly I got none.
Professional essays with stats or people overjoyed with making it out the otherside….
I couldn’t relate one bit.
Talking about mental health can be hard.
Half of society encourages us too, whilst the other fifty percent tells us to ‘man up,’ and ‘stop being so sensitive.’
There’s constant criticism from outsiders; bad stigmas attached, uncomprehending comparisons that ‘people have it much harder than you,’ and a paralysing pressure to present ourselves correctly in society.
I’m just relating to my own life. Talking openly about setbacks, progression and social conflicts.
